Evidence for the existence of "Planet 9"

Scientists at the California Institute of Technology say they have irrefutable evidence proving the theory of the existence of the so-called "Planet 9".

This planet is believed to be located in the most remote corners of our solar system and is 10 times larger than Earth.

Researchers at the California Institute of Technology, said that irrefutable evidence of the existence of this planet was discovered during the study of celestial bodies 13 in what is known as the "Kuiper Belt".

In this generation there are asteroids, comets and other celestial bodies of small size. During the observation of 13 of them, the researchers found that they all move at the same speed, as if attracted by a large force.

This shows the researchers, that the movement of these objects conditioned by a huge gravitational force, that only a gigantic planet may have.

The reason why this planet is not yet captured by telescopes, according to scientists, is that it is beyond the asteroid belt and other celestial bodies of small size, known as the "Kuiper Belt" that hamper visibility from Earth.

Scientists believe that "Planet 9" revolves in an orbit very abnormal about the sun and needs 10 thousand to 20 thousand years to achieve orbit complete, or more accurately, the year on this planet lasts from 10 thousand to 20 thousand years ground.

This material is ten times stronger than steel

It's been 15 years since the discovery of graphene, a super thin sheet of carbon that is thought to be the strongest material in the world.

But while graphene is many times stronger than steel, its conversion into a usable material for architecture has been very difficult.

Turning two dimensional graphene in a three-dimensional structure, such as building blocks has been difficult because he "wants to stay in two-dimensional structure.

But this could change thanks to scientists at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Using computer modeling, scientists have developed a new material, still without a name, similar to a sponge that has 5% of the density of steel and 10 times stronger. This raises the hope that it will be an ideal material for architecture in the future.

"We can use this material as a substitute for a range of materials used in infrastructure, such as bridges, or as a substitute for steel and concrete," says CNN, Zhao Qin, MIT engineer.

Graphene was discovered in 2002 by a physics professor Andrew Geim of the University of Manchester.

"Friday the 13th" has the advantages

All the superstitious world know that it is inevitable that Friday, 13 will always be. At least once a year by mathematics and calendar.

This year began with a day like that, and again October 13 will be the day Friday.

Alien signal source identified

A mysterious signal, which came from the depths of the universe is finally discovered the source from whence it came.

Since 2007, Fast radio signals were heard 18 times and have been a puzzle for scientists from the very first moment they noticed the signal. Nobody knows what provokes this signal and assumptions are many, such as the vibration of a big star or even aliens.

These signals are called FRB powerful waves but very short radio waves, they do not last more than a millisecond.
The first time that this signal was identified in 2007 was carried out by telescopes in Australia Parkers. From the moment they were heard 17 times, but only one of them has been repeated.

It is this signal has been studied for 6 months from scientists who have managed to find the exact location of the signal coming from.

And apparently they have identified the location that also came from this signal. According to scientists signal comes from dwarf galaxy, which is 3 billion light years away.

Cars flying on the roof

A car flew over the roof of a house in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

The vehicle driven by an elderly woman stuck on the roof of the house, but fortunately without causing casualties. No one was injured as residents were not at home, but the older people received some minor injuries.

In January of this year we will be able to enjoy some of it not so well known phenomenon.

The new moon in the early hours of 3 and 4 January will offer favorable conditions of sight, when an average of 120 meteors per hour are expected to illuminate the night sky.

This year Alaska and Hawaii will be the countries from where the shower of meteors can be observed more clearly, where fortunate will be able to see how some times within a minute the sky will  of meteors bright to be a moment before fading.

Kuadrantida, happens every year in early January and is considered one of the most powerful streams of meteors.

A microscopic probe to Alpha Centauri

Një sondë mikroskopike drejt Alfa Centaurit

Humanity will take many decades to uncover all the mysteries of our solar system, but that does not stop to cast my eyes away, to another system.

When talking to another solar system in mind goes closest; Alpha Centauri. This system located 4.7 light years from Earth and arrived there with current technology humanity needs 30 thousand years.

However, Stephen Haëking has joined forces with Russian billionaire Yuri Milner and Mark Zuckerberg to develop a technology that will be sent there, if not the man, at least one probe of his command for only 20 years.

Ambitious mission aims to reach there be scrutinized more closely the planets of this system consists of three stars, for traces of life and alien civilization.

Scientists are optimistic that at least one of these three stars, there is a form of life. According to them, planets like Earth are in what they call the area "Goldilocks" zone where there is neither cold nor hot, and enabling the emergence of life.

The mission is dubbed "Starshot" and in the first phase are made available 100 million dollars.

"What makes mankind unique? There are many answers to this question. Some say language, others reasoning. But I think what makes us unique is our exceeding the limits. Gravity keeps us down to earth, but I just flew back here, I lost my voice, but still can not speak. So overcome our limits, minds, innovation and our machinery, "he said at the presentation of the project at One Observatory in New York Ëorld Stephen Hawking.

The first phase of the project is the construction of a microscopic space probe, which will weigh less than a gram. Thereafter, this probe will be 'shot' laser beam to Alpha Centauri and traveling 160 million kilometers per hour if the laser striking power would be 100 gigawatts.

The number of casualties during the fighting in Syria during this period are thousands, where the children are no exception.

The robot that threatens humanity

Over 1 thousand scientists, including Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk was joined in a petition addressed to humanity to be cautious with uncontrolled advancement of artificial intelligence.

The aim of this petition is to raise awareness of the real threat that humanity can show this intelligence in a not so distant future for humanity, where the worst scenario could be similar to that of the films "Terminator".

As if to illustrate how real is this threat, social networks have brought to attention a session of questions to answer with a robot.

The hearing was held in 2011. Most of the responses and the robot are standard and expected, except one.

He believes that there will come a day when robots will conquer the world? That was the question and answer of the robot was as playful as they were scary.

"You are my friend. Even if transform into a terminator, do not worry! You will keep in a safe in my backyard zoo this will bring people ", said the robot.

What is most disturbing is that the creator of this robot says his answers have great autonomy, thanks to the programming part and the rest based on the information that it collects from the Internet.

The threat of asteroids? We are totally unprepared

It happened once can happen again and we can not do anything to survive. NASA scientists have concluded that mankind is prepared and would be for several decades, in case of collision of the Earth from asteroids.

The alarm was issued by Joseph Nuth, the American Space Agency astronomer at the American Geophysical Union meeting last week.

"We are totally helpless and adrift if we are stricken by asteroids the size of those believed to have become extinct dinosaurs from Earth's surface," says Nuth.

It is believed that stroke occurred 50 to 60 million years ago, and this interval increases further the risk that our planet is attacked again.

Joseph Nuth says the signals are already sent. He mentions here comet that 'shorn' planet in 1996 and an asteroid in 2014. In the second case we were lucky.

"In 2014 the asteroid passed the Earth-Mars distance. It seems far away, but if we were unlucky and it was in collision trajectory with us, will not be able to do anything, "says Nuth.

In the community of scientists widely believed that the dinosaurs became extinct 66 million years ago after the collision of an asteroid with the Earth by 10 kilometers wide, the crash of his thought is the Gulf of Mexico today.

Snow in the Sahara, surprised residents

It would be the last place that went intend that may have snowfalls, although it may seem incredible how after 37 years a part of what is known as the Sahara desert is white snow.

But except surprise, snow has also offered a rare view of the spectacular, with gleaming whiteness between brown desert.

Prostate cancer, total transformation under laser treatment

Surgeons have described a new treatment for early-stage prostate cancer as "highly ". The treatment, tested across Europe, there used lasers and a mixture of drugs containing bacteria from the sea bottom to eliminate tumors, but without causing serious side effects.

Tests on 413 people, published in "The Lancet Oncology", shows that nearly half of them had no trace of testicular tumor. Long-term impotence and lack of self are often consequences of prostate cancer treatment with surgery or radiotherapy. Almost 9 in 10 patients face problems genitals, while 2 in 10 have problems with bladder.

This is also the reason why men to detect cancer in early stages of adopting "wait and see", while receiving cancer treatments only when further advances in aggressive stages.

"This development changes everything," said Professor Mark Emberton, who tested the technique in question at University College London.

The new treatment uses a drug produced by bacteria that live in almost complete darkness in the basement of the seas, returning to toxic substances when exposed to light. Optical lasers are then through the perineum, or the space between the anus and testicles, to cancerous prostate glands. When red laser light, it activates the drugs in question to kill cancerous cells and what remains is healthy prostate.

Testing conducted at 47 European hospitals showed that 49 percent of patients were healed. Meanwhile, after this test, only 6 percent of patients had to perform surgery to remove the prostate, compared to 30 percent of patients who do something like that before used this new therapy. And more importantly, the impact on sexual activity and urination lasted no more than 3 months. Of those who have undergone this therapy, there were no male side effects after two years.

10 "secrets" of Christmas

Origin of Christmas, from the moment it began to be celebrated the birth of baby Jesus and until today, there are many unknowns.

Christmas was celebrated for the first time on December 25 of 354 p.l.k., while it placed Pope Liberius. He chose this day because it was the day of the Roman celebrations of the day's sun, which falls four days after the winter solstice.

Bible
The Bible does not specify never that when Jesus was born. It is believed that he was born between year 7 and 2 before the new era. In the fourth century, the Catholic Church decided to compute the birthday of Jesus feast of December 25.

Presents
In 1886, the United States became the recipient of the largest gift in the Christmas story, when France gave the Statue of Liberty, our 225 and 46.5 meters high.

divisions
According to studies conducted by social network Facebook two weeks before Christmas are more familiar time of year when most couples split. As the day of Christmas, on the other hand is less separation day in a year.

lawlessness

Why more meteors fall to Siberia ?!

Përse bien më shumë meteorë në Siberi?!

The largest region of Russia looks like a magnet for meteors that fall from the sky and explain why scientists. In 1908 in Tunguska, Siberia, a meteor (or perhaps a comet) exploded in the air by destroying 1500 square km forest.

In 1947, a 70 ton meteor rain of iron and nickel fell Sinkhote-Alin mountains, in Siberia, forming thirty craters. In 2013, on the eve of Valentine's Day, a fireball exploded in the sky near Chelyabinsk, Siberia, the case is documented by dozens of video recorded by drivers where fireball produced a shock wave that shattered thousands of windows and injured hundreds of people .

In 2016, on December 4, about 18:00, another fireball illuminated the sky over Siberia Sayanogorsk. Is there anything in Siberia that attracts like a magnet meteors?
In fact we should not be surprised about the great number of meteors falling from the sky in this region of the world. Although less populated, Siberia is greater, or less than 10% of the Earth's surface. To make a comparison. United States-a country that we imagine we see in hartë- estimated to be only 1.9% of the planet, that is less than Siberia. Logically possibility of falling meteors in the US is less.

It is therefore quite reasonable to Siberia fall a large number of objects from space, in comparison with others. Every day across the globe, from the sky fall about 100 tonnes meteors, whether in the form of dust, gravel or larger buildings.

The latter form the craters in the ground. The land is large and about 70% of it is covered with water, but when meteors fall into the oceans, the opportunity to document is too small.

We should not surprise that around 10 meteors fall to earth every day and the fact that Siberia has a very large area, the probability of falling meteors in this space is even higher.
