Phil Kitromilides believes United will finally get
into their stride on Monday and will secure a comfortable win over the
side from Hong Kong
Somewhat unexpectedly Manchester United have produced a series
of rather stuttering results pre-season, with the Red Devils' record of
one win, two defeats and a draw made all the more suprising given the
calibre of opposition faced. Next up for David Moyes' side is a game against Hong Kong side Kitchee and anything other than a convicing victory would be a major surprise. To this end, United are offered at 1/12 (1.08) with Bet365 with Kitchee availabe at 16/1 (17.00) and the draw at 11/1 (12.00).
Backing a United win is practically impossible at the odds quoted, and even investing in them in the half-time/full-time market does not appeal at 1/4 (1.25).
Instead, backing United to win with a handicap looks the wisest investment and they are offered at 3/4 (1.75) to win starting from three goals down.
While Kitchee have been in decent form domestically there can be no question that the quality of the Hong Kong league is not comparable to the level at which United play. Indeed, the leaders of the Hong Kong league, South China, were beaten 6-0 by Spurs at the weekend.
United should be comfortably better than their opponents on Monday and when there is such disparity between two sides it is often difficult to encounter any value in the market. Backing them at 3/4 (1.75) with a -3 handicap is not an enormous price by any means, but it has an excellent chance of paying out.
