What remained after fighting in Aleppo
An ancient mosque that once stood proudly in the center of Aleppo has turned into ruins, while the ceasefire has been effectively ending a brutal four-year battle for the city.
Dramatic images of the object of worship was once known as the Aleppo Umayyad Mosque, also known as "the Great Mosque" has revealed how she is now completely turned to rubble.
Some of the surrounding walls of the building which has been listed by UNESCO protected buildings have been destroyed.
But the Great Mosque is the only object turned to rubble, almost all historical city in Syria has the same end.
