Capoue passes Tottenham medical

The 25-year-old has revealed that paperwork is the only thing to be completed before his move to Andre Villas-Boas' side is confirmed, and will attend training on Thursday

Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue has confirmed he has passed a medical with Tottenham ahead of his move to White Hart Lane.

Spurs have been in talks with the French club over a deal for the 25-year-old this summer, with the switch expected to be completed before Andre Villas-Boas' side take on Crystal Palace in their Premier League opener on Sunday.

"There are only some paperwork to sign now. I will be at the training ground tomorrow," Capoue told Sky Sports News.

"Tottenham is a super club. It's the best club to continue my career. It should be official very quickly now."

Capoue is set to be Tottenham's fourth signing of the transfer window following the arrivals of Paulinho, Nacer Chadli and Roberto Soldado.
