The Philippines claims that is gaining in the war on drugs and the streets are now safer despite the horror images of bodies that lie in the streets of the country.

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has welcomed brutal campaign in the fight against drugs that his country has experienced 6 months, where about 6,000 people were killed by police and ordinary civilians.

Nearly 900,000 drug users are surrendered to the police for fear of being put to death in the street, most of whom are introduced in overcrowded prisons.

Duterte, who came to power on June 30 to the last year, has declared its law to kill without trial users and drug traffickers who do not surrender to the police will continue to apply until the end of his presidential term .

But despite government claims of victory Filipino, new images from the hospital of the capital Manila, show more corpses brought from the streets.

Although the number of murders increased, the Philippine government considers the drug not only as a matter of national security, but also a "public health issue", by building more rehabilitation centers around the country.
