Italy police: Amr used the same gun in Berlin and Milano
The weapon with which he shot a police officer in Milano, the suspect of the attack on the market of Christmas in Berlin last month, is the same used by the gunman dead already killing the truck driver, who collided with people celebrating in the German capital.
The news was confirmed by Italian police during this Wednesday. Amr Anis, Tunisian who failed to secure asylum in Germany, was shot dead by police during a Italian suburb "Sesto San Giovanni" in Milan on December 23, just days after caused 12 fatalities in Berlin.
Amr is also suspected of killing a truck driver in Germany, whose vehicle caught on to finish the terrorist act in the crowded Christmas market. Italian police carried out from December 23 different investigations to determine if the same gun was used in both events in Berlin and Milan.
"The comparison made between the cartridge out terrorist weapon at 'Sesto' and a bullet found by German police, has brought inevitable evidence that had been fired from the same weapon," Italian police said in a statement.
