Putin hopes for a friend of Donald Trump

9 days before the US presidential elections, journalist and anchorman Dmitry Kiselev attacked American democracy, saying that many voters vote several times, being sent by buses from one polling station to another. The biggest scandal in history, according to him. But recently, Kiselev has not even mentioned America, Western arrogance simply attacked.
Donald Trump's victory shook the state media in Russia. Trump they support, but for months he insisted that the American system was so manipulated and corrupted, that an "outsider" as he had no chance resolved. When the impossible happened, the Russian propaganda machine froze, and then declined with half-voice that perhaps this time people beat the system. While Trump addresses White House, Moscow and Russians generally measured hope that the billionaire will continue with his words of Russian President Vladimir Putin may become an ally.

Russian President himself expressed these views saying that Donald Trump is a smart man, and that may have positive changes. Many Russians, incited by local media, think so. A poll published in Russia suggests that 76% of Russians want better relations with the United States after the election of Trump, a big change from 50% in 2015.

Russian analysts say that a main reason for this improvement is a positive presentation of Trump by Russian media. So far, at least, that's the expectation, but if Trump is not the best friend of Russia and Putin, Russian media is not a problem, as they can change position again.
