Greek debt relief, suspended from the Eurozone
Greece's European creditors suspended debt relief plan for Greece, which was agreed recently.
They said they are not satisfied with the Greek government has planned to spend 617 million euros to the state poorest pensioners a bonus before Christmas.
European Stability Mechanism, the body that helps troubled Eurozone governments, said he was asked to approve the bonus. According to European officials, will now be a review of the proposed payment to pensioners.
"After the recent proposal of the Greek government to spend additional resources for pensions and VAT, our bodies management have suspended their decision temporarily. Currently, institutions are evaluating the impact of the decisions of the Greek government about the objectives - said a spokesman the European stability mechanism.
Pact for Greek debt relief was achieved on December 5 and reduce Greek debt interests. But the Greek government, without consulting with representatives of the Eurozone decided to reward pensioners only 3 days later. European officials said the Greek government's actions are not in line with agreements already and there is no unanimity to implement short-term measures to Greek debt.
