One person was killed in New York by the winter storm that dropped 43 centimeters of snow forced the authorities to issue a warning of a deepening in some parts of the country.
The victim had lost control of his vehicle and collided with a truck that was facing. The truck driver escaped the incident with only a few minor injuries.
The heavy snow made the roads whitened in Pennsylvania where car drivers have difficulty moving from the ice. Experts warn about a possible deterioration of weather starting next week from Tuesday.
According to them, most of the northern half of the United States can reckon with frosts that are expected to be similar to the dangerous situation created in the country by 2014 polar front.
