Queen flu, missing mass in the new year

Queen missed Mass new year's day in church sandringhamit, due to a serious cooling. She also missed Christmas day mass in norfolk and has not been seen in public for 12 days. A spokesman for Buckingham Palace said the queen has yet to recover.

She and the Duke of Edinburgh began the Christmas holidays on December 22 and traveled by helicopter and not as usual by train . Prince Philip, meanwhile, reportedly has recovered. He was present at the Mass of the day of the year, along with his son, Prince Edward and other members of the royal family.

The absence of the queen in church, Christmas Day, was the first in many years it loses. Bakingam Palace said it was a precautionary measure due to cold and wet, and there was no reason to worry.

Mass of the day of the new year in Sandringham, was held by the Bishop of Noruichit. Duke of Edinburgh, Princess and Prince Edward were present along with their families.
