Egypt church attack, dozens of victims in Nigeria


A strong explosion near the Coptic cathedral in Cairo, the Egyptian capital killed at least 25 people and injuring dozens of others.

Security sources announced that the victims were mostly women and children. The blast occurred in a small church inside the complex where the Cathedral of St. Mark, who reportedly suffered no damage.

12 kg TNT believed to be used for attack by yet unconfirmed information a woman was seen hiding a bag inside the church before they get out of there.

Meanwhile, another tragedy was recorded in a church in Nigeria, where at least 160 people were killed after the roof collapsed while praying.

Many are believed to be still under the rubble. The church was under construction and work was accelerated to allow the holding of a ceremony on the occasion of the election of its founder as archbishop.
