China has accused the United States have invented an underwater drone incident with American was seized by the Chinese navy in international waters in the South China Sea.
The Pentagon said that the drone was being used for scientific research and asked that the facility be returned, warning China that such events are not repeated.
On her part, the Chinese government initially stated that the two countries are in talks to return the facility, but later, in a second statement, the Defense Ministry accused the Americans of overreaction on the incident.
However, this case is one of the most serious clashes in decades between two great powers. But, who fueled the fires was elected president of the American, Donald Trump, who had accused China of stealing underwater drone.
Trump had aggravated relations with Beijing earlier, after talking on the phone with the President of Taiwan, violating protocol practice of the US-China dispute Taiwan.
